The 2005 album *Confessions on a Dance Floor* is back in the spotlight following the release of its 2016 sequel. This landmark album—which holds the record for the most No. 1 spots on album charts across 40 countries in the history of pop music, has sold 12 million copies, and won the Grammy Award for Best Electronic Dance Album—is now available as a two-disc alternate edition. CD 1 features a complete collection of demo versions of all the album’s tracks in the original track order. These versions, unique to the demo recordings and differing from the final releases, have been remastered in high quality. The second half of the disc includes five previously unreleased tracks not featured on the original album, along with alternate demos. CD 2 features even more rare tracks under the title “Demos and Unreleased Tracks.” This highly anticipated 2026 alternate edition of *Confessions on a Dancefloor*—a key work in Madonna’s 2000s discography—includes the “How High” demo by the production team Bloodshy & Avant, which differs from the final version, as well as the “Get Together” demo by Anders Bagge & Pär Astrom, featuring a completely different arrangement.
