Rare lot of three Spanish shipwreck-recovered ceramic pitchers, recovered from Caribbean waters in the Haiti area, possibly associated with waters near Île de la Tortue (Tortuga), Haiti.
These vessels display extensive evidence of prolonged marine exposure, including heavy natural encrustation, calcareous deposits, marine growth, staining, surface wear, and weathering. One pitcher remains particularly heavily encrusted, while another retains substantial marine growth around the handle.
The pieces remain in their shipwreck-recovered condition, with marine deposits intentionally preserved rather than aggressively cleaned or restored.
