Lip Nautic 3 Ocean-Limited Edition (#2 of 100) La Joux-Perret G100 auto-full kit.
Up for sale is a beautiful Lip Nautic 3 Ocean witha gorgeous sunray blue/turquoise dial and bezel in excellent condition. It’s a 39mmcase with a La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement that has a 68 hour powerreserve. Lip used the \"Soignée\" (top-tier) version of the movement, featuring Côtes de Genève striping and Diamond-cut chamfered bevels.
This is a numbered, limited edition that Lip (founded in1867 and with a great heritage, but little known in the U.S. market.) producedfor Ocarat, a French jewelry chain. It was the basis for Lip’s follow-on seriesof Nautic models using variations of the “ocean” effect dial.
Condition & Service History
The watch is in excellent overall condition and presentsvery well. I’m the initial owner, and only wore it consistently for a fewmonths- then found something else I liked (now you know how I ended up withthis collection I’m starting to liquidate! 😊).
The watch ran extremely well for the months I actually woreit. Then spent the last couple years in an auto-winder. As with any mechanicalwatch, accuracy can vary on a number of factors, including wear habits,position, power reserve, etc.
The watch is quite pristine- I’ve also reinstalled theoriginal rubber bracelet- those don’t work with my scrawny wrists, so I had putother straps on when I wore it … 😊
