Lionel Prewar 260E Locomotive with 260T Tender 1932-40Serviced & Tested
This is a Lionel Prewar 260E Locomotive with 260T Tender produced in 1932-40. The locomotive features a 3-position E-unit, red spoked wheels, full valve gear, headlight, and red ashpan light to simulate the firebox glow. The motor, E-unit, and all bearings were cleaned and lubricated. It was tested and everything works. NOTE: The steam chest and pilot truck were replaced with modern MTH parts. There is a repair on the front of the tender roof (see photo). One notched rod attachment screw was replaced with a regular slotted screw. The boiler front release latch was repaired. The flags are not original.
