Lionel Original Vintage 2466w Whistle tender, 1945 w flying shoe & floor hole For Sale

This one is a recent estate purchase.......... . ..................This lot includes an original vintage postwar 2466w whistle tender. Whistle works but needs cleaning and lubrication of all contacts ,rollers etc. Has some surface rust on trucks. tested with jump wires and whistle does work. Cover has two of the screw holes repaired > all 4 screws hold tight and it appears that the cover body is not broken and has good paint and lettering. Has all metal whistle body, ealy type with classic two tone sound. This is the 1945 version that does not have the draw bar connector outside, It has the hole in the base up front for the engine draw bar to slide in and connect. Also has flying shoe trucks with thick axels and dish wheels. One of the roller springs is not tight and would need adjustment. We have lowered the price substantially for this hard to find tender from our usual due to the few minor issues.
