A 35-piece Lenox Kingsley china service - a wide teal/sage green band with a bright platinum rim line and a grey stylised floral spray in the centre well.
Mark: A laurel wreath enclosing a script L, below it KINGSLEY / BY LENOX / X-445 / MADE IN USA.
Dating: Kingsley was produced by Lenox from 1954 to 1979. The wreath mark itself only brackets 1930-1989, so the date comes from the pattern, not the mark. The X-445 in the backstamp is Lenox\'s decoration number and should not be read as a year.

Note the cups and saucers do not pair evenly - there are nine cups and eight saucers.
Trim: Platinum, not gold. Hand wash only - Lenox of this period carries no dishwasher-safe marking, and platinum trim is damaged by dishwasher detergent.

Condition: Used. Please see all photos, which form part of the description. Expected light surface wear consistent with age and use; on a service of this size some pieces will show more platinum wear than others. Any chips or cracks found are shown in the photographs.
