Late 19th Century KPM Berlin Hand Painted Monbijou Palace Coffee CupAntique late 19th century German porcelain coffee can or coffee cup. Decorated with a hand painted scene framed in gold gilding and beading with the phrase \"Monbijou, das Lust_Schloß Ir. Maj. der Königinn Fr: Mutter\" in black script below. Has gold gilding with a marbled blue band above gold scrollwork along the sides and back. Marked on the bottom with the blue underglaze scept mark used by KPM.Has wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.Measures approximately 3 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall.This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
