Late 1800s Fruitwood and Cast Brass Wall-Mountable Equestrian Tack & Bridle Rack.
In the style of England’s 19th Century Equestrian Tack Rack/Holder, this is either straight from that period in GREAT condition or a reproduction with same strong sturdy cast brass with wood pegs, 4 screw mounts on the back plate- identical to the earlier made racks. Many of these racks were more cast iron and/or painted black and very rarely would be made with cast brass; making this even more unique. This color gives an even classier look to those desiring high end looking equestrian tools in their barns.
Overall in very good condition with only noticed “flaw” being a bit of rust in one spot and a clump of “black” residue- looks like could have been a heavy tack glue from use in the past. No Maker mark noticed.
Some platforms/other sellers describe this particular item as a saddle rack. Please see pictures for measurements of item to determine whether better suited as saddle rack or bridle/tack rack.
