Unlike modern reproductions, this is an incredibly heavy, high-quality piece made of solid wood and molded gesso (weighs over 50 lbs). Features a heavily detailed ornate gold gilt frame and a premium beveled glass center. The factory stamp on the back indicates an internal glass measurement of 80cm x 50cm (overall footprint is much larger).Please Note / Item History:I purchased this a few days ago for $500 at an estate sale where the previous elderly female owner passed away inside the home. Since bringing this mirror into our office, we have experienced unexplained activity. My wife heard distinct footsteps and a door closing inside the locked office in the middle of the night. A few days later, our night-vision security camera captured a distinct silhouette of a woman looking out from the mirror in an empty room (see final photos in listing).We want it gone and are just looking to get our money back.
