The purely financial value of these books would be enhanced by proper repairs. Up to now, I and one of my sons have kept and skimmed them for the sheer amazement of being able to read books this old, and for educational value. I hope someone will appreciate them for what they are, even in this condition. Of interest to a young person captivated by history or those who relish holding in their hands the products and words of antiquity. It\'s hard to let them go, but neither I nor the books are getting any younger.
