Nice lot here. We\'re still clearing out space, so selling these at a deep discount. So a great opportunity for your jukebox or private collection. Or if you\'re a reseller.
Presume most of these to be between VG and VG+. Maybe a couple of outliers both EX and G+. Nothing trashed, warped, sticks or skips. At least that we know of. Pardon the rather tatty Apple sleeves. We\'re completely out of stock of those for the moment. The 45s are in better condition :-)
If there\'s any particular 45 you\'re interested in the grade of, we\'ll be happy to answer.
We have slightly different grading system for 45s than LPs. Primarily because styrene (though some are vinyl) is much more finicky. Also we don\'t necessarily have the time to sample all the 45s. So consider these a visual grade (unless noted). Often times, when a 45 still has high gloss, then it usually sounds better than it looks.
Styrene / Vinyl:
Mint - We only use this grade for sealed and records we know 100% to be new (i.e. we broke the seal to validate condition or purchased the copy New directly without a seal). Please note that not all New records sound perfect. Vinyl is analog and definitely imperfect. That\'s why they invented the CD. :-)
EX: These are the best used copies available and not that common. Many look new / unplayed, or the record was carefully played, and show no marks whatsoever.
VG+: These are the nicest copies you would typically find in the wilds, including used record stores. High gloss, very few marks if any.
VG: Still high gloss with some play marks. Generally will sound great with probably light background.
G+: Plenty of gloss left but clearly a 45 that has been played often. Will likely have background noise but will not dominate the music. We usually check these first before selling.
G: More acceptable in the 45 world than LP. Heavy scuffing and will play with background noise. Not overly warped, or broken, or hard scratches that causes skips, but still a pretty beat copy. We usually don\'t sell at this level unless it\'s very rare. Will likely provide sound samples so you can hear for yourself.
45s / 7 inches will be shipped in special cardboard mailers designed for these smaller records.
