Culture & Feeding Benefits
These are live starter cultures, not dried or frozen foods. Once established and properly maintained, the cultures can be propagated by the hobbyist for continued use.
Each culture comes from an actively maintained colony and is intended to give you a starting population that you can continue cultivating at home.
Please note: Culture density, appearance, and exact organism counts may vary naturally. Live cultures are biological systems and may look different depending on their stage of reproduction and growth.
🛡 Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)Reporting Requirements:
Any issues must be reported within 1 hour of the delivery scan and must include two photos showing the product unopened and fully sealed. Opening the product immediately voids the LAG.
Temperature Requirements:
Delivery-day temperatures must fall between 40°F and 85°F. If temperatures are below 40°F or above 85°F, buyers are strongly encouraged to upgrade from Free Shipping to the available 1-day or 2-day shipping options to maintain LAG eligibility.
Shipping Restrictions:
No shipping to PO Boxes. Orders placed with a PO Box address will be canceled.
Shipping Schedule:
All live shipments are sent out only on Mondays and Tuesdays to minimize weekend delays and ensure the highest possible survival rate.
Orders placed before 3:00 PM Pacific on Monday or Tuesday will be fulfilled and shipped the same day.
Orders placed after 3:00 PM Pacific on Sunday or Monday will ship the following day.
Orders placed after 3:00 PM Pacific on Tuesday through Saturday will ship the following Monday.
