Our infusoria are maintained as dedicated live freshwater cultures and are shipped as a living culture.

Because infusoria are microscopic, the culture may appear different depending on lighting, water conditions, and the stage of the culture when it arrives. Natural variation in appearance and density is normal.

The culture is intended to be maintained and propagated by the customer after arrival.

Live infusoria orders are carefully packaged using appropriate sealed containers to help protect the culture during transit.

Please note: USPS delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Transit time can vary depending on destination, weather, weekends, holidays, and USPS operating conditions.

For extreme temperatures, customers are strongly encouraged to take local weather conditions into consideration when ordering live cultures.

Any issues must be reported within 1 hour of the delivery scan and must include two photos showing the product unopened and fully sealed.

Opening the product immediately voids the LAG.

Delivery-day temperatures must fall between 50°F and 80°F for LAG eligibility.

If temperatures are below 50°F or above 80°F, buyers are strongly encouraged to consider an available faster shipping option to help reduce transit time and protect the live culture.

No shipping to PO Boxes.

Orders placed with a PO Box address will be canceled.

All live shipments are sent out only on Mondays and Tuesdays to minimize weekend delays and ensure the highest possible survival rate.

Orders placed before 3:00 PM Pacific on Monday or Tuesday will be fulfilled and shipped the same day.

Orders placed after 3:00 PM Pacific on Tuesday through Sunday will ship the following Monday.

Orders placed after 3:00 PM Pacific on Monday or Tuesday will ship the following shipping day.
