Kicker designed their KS Series lineup to be a substantial step-up from your factory speakers. The KSS650 6-1/2" component system features two woofers for satisfying bass and a pair of silk dome tweeters that deliver smooth vocal and instrumental details. This system\'s outboard crossovers direct frequencies where they need to go and let you tweak the tweeter levels depending on your taste. What does that all mean for you? You\'ll finally hear what most factory speakers don\'t provide — a full spectrum of natural sound.

Why choose components?

In a component system, the tweeter is separated from the woofer so that it can be mounted higher up in the car for a more direct path to your ears. The crossover network in a component system uses high-quality components to ensure a sharp delineation between the frequencies sent to the woofer and tweeter. While installing components can mean a little more installation time, your music will sound more realistic, more "live," and have greater depth and imaging. If a component system doesn\'t suit your application, these speakers can be converted into 2-way speakers by mounting the tweeter directly into the woofer.

The polypropylene woofer and rubber surround are designed to last.
