Beautiful oversized University of Kansas Jayhawks soup mug / soup cup made by Heartland China of Ottawa, Kansas.
This substantial ceramic mug features a deep cobalt-blue glossy finish with white and metallic gold detailing. The front prominently displays the classic KU Jayhawk, large K U lettering, “Since 1865,” “The University of Kansas,” and “Lawrence, Kansas.” The large handle has JAYHAWK spelled vertically in gold lettering.
A particularly nice piece of Kansas memorabilia because Heartland China was itself a Kansas company located in Ottawa, Kansas, making this an especially appropriate collectible for a KU alumnus, Jayhawks fan, Lawrence resident, or collector of University of Kansas memorabilia.
The bottom retains both the Heartland China – Ottawa, Kansas maker label and the original Collegiate Licensed Product label.
This is the larger soup mug / soup cup style, rather than a standard-size coffee mug. It measures approximately 6 inches across the opening and about 4 inches tall. Please see the ruler photographs for scale.

Very good to excellent pre-owned condition. The cobalt-blue glaze remains glossy and attractive, and the white and metallic gold graphics display very nicely. Interior is exceptionally clean.
