They come with Microtrains replacement knuckle couplers, and are programmed to their road number. They run as Kato’s should, very smoothly. No sound, but both come with Digitrax decoders DN163K1C.
As you can see by the photos, they come in the original jewel cases and original outer sleeve. This set also comes with set 1 and set 2 of the distinctive Fox Valley Models CNW coal cars. Each set has 12 cars, for 24 cars total - plus a bonus car! They all have their original jewel cases per the photos. These cars have their original plastic wheels, and all cars are in great shape - no broken or missing pieces. No missing or broken couplers. They all have their plastic coal load inserts.
