John Lennon RARE Vintage 1970 Poster Day-Glo Pop Art 35 1/2” X 23 1/2” Beatles

“Authentic vintage 1970 John Lennon screen-printed canvas/fabric poster. Bold high-contrast red portrait on deep blue background, featuring Lennon with his iconic round glasses and full beard—classic early 1970s look from his late Beatles and solo era.

Purchased new by me in 1970 from a shop in Greenwich Village in NYC and it was hung on my wall using thumbtacks so there are some pin holes and some small creases. I wrote on the back of the poster the year and original price I paid at the little shop. I have tried to photograph all imperfections. It has been stored rolled in a poster tube for a long time and hasn’t been displayed ever since. Excellent vintage condition with vibrant caolors, no tears, creases, or fading. Shows the characteristic mesh/dot texture of period screen printing.

Perfect for Beatles collectors, music memorabilia fans, or as statement wall art in a man cave, studio, or home. Unframed and ready to frame.

Provenance: Bought in 1970 — not a modern reproduction, I wrote on the back of the poster as seen in the photos the original price and year that I bought it.

I photographed the poster laying on my bed with natural sunlight from my window and some painted stones to hold down the corners and prevent it from rolling back up so there may be some wrinkles as a result that are not permanent but it will likely need some flattening before framing or display.

It is a very rare poster, in fact I haven’t found another like it anywhere on or anywhere else on the internet!
