Jethro Tull War Child LP Signed Ian Anderson Martin Barre Dee Palmer COA For Sale

Original 1974 U.S. Chrysalis Records pressing of Jethro Tull’s “War Child,” personally signed directly on the vinyl record in silver marker by Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, and Dee Palmer.

IAN ANDERSON – Founder, lead vocalist, principal songwriter, and renowned flutist of Jethro Tull.

MARTIN BARRE – Jethro Tull’s longtime lead guitarist and a central member of the band’s classic lineup.

DEE PALMER – Classically trained arranger and keyboardist who created orchestral arrangements for many Jethro Tull recordings, including “War Child,” and later became an official member of the band.

According to the accompanying documentation, Ian Anderson and Martin Barre signed the record in person on August 7, 2003, in Vienna, Virginia, when Jethro Tull performed at Wolf Trap. Dee Palmer reportedly signed it on April 21, 2019, in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, during a Martin Barre Band appearance.

CONDITION:
The album jacket shows noticeable age and storage wear, including edge wear, corner wear, surface rubbing, and creasing. The lyric sleeve has age-related handling wear. The vinyl shows visible handling marks, fingerprints, and surface wear. Because the signatures are applied directly to the playing surface, the record is being sold primarily as an autographed display collectible. Playback has not been tested.

The Ian Anderson inscription reads “Hello!” above his signature. Martin Barre’s signature has some underlying marker smearing, with the signature rewritten more clearly over it. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
