Beautiful antique/vintage Japanese porcelain vase with elaborate raised moriage-style decoration.
This decorative vase features a soft pale-yellow ground with hand-applied, textured floral decoration in shades of green, lavender, pink, cream, and red. It has striking cobalt-blue double handles embellished with raised dot accents, an ornate cobalt and gold-gilt scalloped rim, delicate scrollwork, and a raised butterfly detail.
The underside is marked in red with a patent reference and “Made in Japan.” Visible wording includes:U.S. Patent

Condition
Pre-owned antique/vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with use and display.
Please examine the photos carefully, as they are part of the description. There is visible wear to the gilt trim and some age-related discoloration, scuffs, spotting, and surface wear. The raised enamel/moriage decoration has normal irregularities and wear associated with its age and handmade decorative style.
