Circa 1980s-1990s, from the wonderful Japanese candy-toy culture: three vintage helicopter toys with their original illustrated packaging and accessories.The lot includes Kabaya’s colorful SUPER HELI, Jam’s terrific “Sukatt HELI – My Mini Hericopter” with box, instructions, decals and launcher parts - and lastly, a Fujiwa futuristic flying toy with its original box and rotor mechanism.The Japanese packages portray bright, sci-fi artwork, ¥150–¥200 price markings, collection graphics and inventive instructions. A great little group for Japanese toy collectors, candy-toy fans, aviation enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys the wonderfully eccentric things that came out of Japan.These beauties never did fly well, but they all gave it their best.Kabaya Super HeliJapanese candy/toy packaging, with the little gray flying vehicle and yellow rotor. The box says SUPER HELI, shows several different flying vehicles, and says there are 6 types to collect.Please note the brown nub at the center of the yellow circular blade is broken off at the base. The base allows the circular blade to sit on the top of the vehicle. It may be possible to hollow out where the nub broke from the spoke and re-seat the yellow blade nub (which is partially still intact) to sit or even to fly, but as it is now, it will not. It remains more of an unusual display than a working model. The winding mechanism, even when it was new was very loose, so this is a case of a very interesting toy that never really worked well from the very beginning. It is cool looking and the box art is stunning. Give this baby a new home and it will shine in your collection.Jam Sukatt HELIMy Mini Hericopter” — this is the star of the group. You have the box, illustrated assembly/instruction sheet, decal sheet, rotor, helicopter and launcher mechanism. The box is marked ¥200 and has an export sticker identifying the product as Japanese. The string has unwound at the base and needs to be restrung - you see it in the instructions. This is a Japanese toy that was made in China.Fujiwa “Heli...”Flying toy — box, rotor launcher and little blue helicopter, with wonderful period Japanese sci-fi artwork.
