Offered are 4 Iron Man magazines from Jan to Apr 1995. This is the first of two sets on sale for 1994. Iron Man was in full swing with Joe Weider’s Muscle and Fitness and Bob Kennedy’s MuscleMag International. Editor John Balik remained true to Iron Man’s original philosophy focusing on training. But he also kept up with recent trends and also routinely published “Swimsuit” issues started by his competitors. The magazine also had a more polished look than the Iron Man of the Peary Rader days.
These magazines are from my personal collection and have always been stored in closed door bookcases. They are in excellent condition — no missing pages or tears and strong spines. These issues also feature a two-sided pull-out poster of bodybuilders . Frank Zane gets a poster for the March 1995 issue.
