N747SP was the original prototype of the Boeing 747SP (Special Performance) commercial wide-body airliner. It made its historic first flight on July 4, 1975, wearing the iconic red, white, and blue Boeing house colors. Following its certification trials, the plane was delivered to Pan American World Airways (Pan Am) in April 1976, where it was re-registered as N530PA and named \"Clipper Mayflower\"
The model the Inflight chose to do is how she looked like during the rollout ceremony (this is when it still had the wingtips). Later during testing they decided to shorten the wingtip spikes. This model features a nice display stand, Rotating fan blades inside the engines and sturdy fixed undercarriage and rolling threaded rubber tires.
