Convair F-106A Delta Dart Diecast Model
USAF 87th FIS Red Bulls, #59-0053, Sawyer AFB, MI, 1974
F-106A Delta Dart 59-0053 MSN 8-24-182 was completed in early 1960 and delivered to the 318th Fighter Interceptor Squadron / 325th FW at McChord AFB, WA on April 5, 1960. Over the years the aircraft spent time with the 498th FIS, 84th FIS and in September 1974 became the property of the 87th FIS "Red Bulls" at Sawyer AFB, MI. On August 10, 1983 90053 was sent to MASDC as FN014 in 1991 became a drone and was shot down at Tyndall AFB, FL May 18, 1994.
The model had been kept always in the BOX and comes with its stand so as to present it either static or in fly position. The approximate dimensions of the model are (LxW) : 11.8in x 6.3in or 30cm x 16cm
It is completely unopened andNEVER displayed (not even for photographs).
