These are about 2 inches longer than the stock oem forks, and they are heavy duty forks, so if you are a big guy, you gain more ground clearance, and suspension upgrade at the same time.These are about 26 inches from center of axle hole to the top of the fork.
These may be longer than your stock forks, & could lift up the front end a little bit.

As far as the springs go - I removed the rubber dust seal that came with theforksandthen the stock springs and gaiters fit perfectly over theforktube and everything fit perfect.Makes theforkabout 50% stiffer and if you are a bigger person (as many of us are) no more BANG when you hit a hole.
FYI if this is done and the gaiters are replaced, make sure you use the stock full length (13 rib) Gaiters or they will be too short.
