Rare pieces of Minneapolis chopper history. This complete setup includes the vintage Mikuni/MIC carburetors, custom dual-carb independent intake stock modified Harley Davidson Panhead cylinder heads, throttle assembly, and the supporting hardware removed from a historic Minneapolis-built chopper. According to the history passed along with the bike, it was built and assembled through multiple Minneapolis-area shops, with the engine reportedly built by legendary Minnesota custom motorcycle builder Donnie Smith around 1970 or 1971. This is an opportunity to own a highly distinctive period performance setup with a direct connection to the early Minneapolis custom motorcycle and chopper scene. There is only only broken fin (pictured) and the engine was in overall great condition and well preserved. True dual independent intake Panhead cylinder heads are extremely rare and will match perfectly with a custom or performance oriented build.
