Handmade stoneware cup with two generous loop handles and a mottled blue and teal glaze, accented with brown along the rim and handles. Visible throwing rings and an unglazed base highlight its handmade construction.The form is consistent with a natla, a cup used for netilat yadayim, or Jewish ritual handwashing. Yadayim means “hands” in Hebrew. Its original intended use has not been confirmed.The incised base marking reads “5781,” the Hebrew year corresponding to 2020–2021. Adjacent characters may be נח, spelling Noach (Noah)—possibly a maker’s or recipient’s name.
