Lovely, matching set of two (2) hand-completed, finished counted cross-stitch accent pillows.
Each pillow features a beautifully detailed four-quadrant sampler pattern of sweet animals dressed up and sitting inside themed teapots and teacups.
Pillow 1 Animals: An Owl (with a harvest sunflower and pumpkin hat), a Holstein Cow (featuring blue button eyes), a Cat (\"Catnip Tea & Catnip Scones\"), and a cute character sitting in a pumpkin soup tureen.
Pillow 2 Animals: A Bunny Rabbit with floppy black ears, a masked Raccoon, a Pink Pig wearing a massive floral crown, and a spotted dog.
The designs are skillfully hand-stitched on classic ivory Aida cloth fabric. The fronts are securely backed with a soft, solid ochre-yellow fabric, completely sewn shut, and stuffed.
Condition: Excellent vintage pre-owned condition. The hand-executed counted cross-stitching is incredibly neat, tight, and uniform. The embroidery floss colors remain bright and vibrant with no fading, staining.
