Also included as a collector bonus is the six-character Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms pin set originally released with the Limited Edition of the sequel. The original Kyoto Winds furoshiki wrapping cloth is NOT included.
Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds is a remastered visual novel set in Kyoto during the final years of the Tokugawa shogunate. The story follows Chizuru Yukimura as her search for her missing father brings her into the world of the Shinsengumi and its famous samurai. Kyoto Winds expands the original Hakuoki story with additional characters, romance routes, and story content.
Its direct sequel, Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms, continues the story and relationships established in Kyoto Winds as events move beyond Kyoto. The included Edo Blossoms character pin set makes a particularly fitting companion collectible for this edition.

I am very detail-oriented and tend to note every cosmetic detail I see. These observations are included for transparency and should not necessarily be interpreted as significant defects. Unlike other resellers, I want you to receive the exact item(s) you ordered—in the condition you are expecting them to be—no stock images, no hiding bad angles… no surprises.
Condition
Overall, this Limited Edition set is in very good collectible condition. The game and soundtrack remain sealed, the wooden bento box is especially well preserved, and the art book presents extremely well. The collector’s box and interior inserts show varying degrees of normal shelf/storage wear as detailed below.
Collector’s Box:
The large Limited Edition outer box is structurally sound with no observed rips or tears. It has light indents and general shelf/storage wear. Several shallow parallel indents approximately 1–1.5 inches long are present near the center of the top edge. The black back panel shows moderate shelf wear, which is more noticeable against the dark finish, along with an indent near the upper center-left area. The original contents/company-information sticker remains attached near the bottom of the back.
Normal storage wear may include minor scuffs, light scratches, small indents, or light scrapes.
PS Vita Game:
The Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds PS Vita game remains factory sealed and has not been opened or played. The reversible cover sleeve is included with the sealed game.
Melodies from Kyoto Soundtrack:
The soundtrack CD remains sealed. Part of the outer plastic wrap is folded over itself, causing a portion of the wrap to sit slightly misaligned and somewhat loose. This appears consistent with a packaging/manufacturing irregularity rather than evidence of opening. There is also a small hairline crack in the front of the CD case near the lower-left corner.
Hardcover Art Book:
The hardcover art book is in excellent overall condition and otherwise presents close to new. Two small droplet-sized spots are visible just above the “Story” box near the center and center-right of page 2. Pages 2 and 3 each have a tiny pin-prick-sized white spot at the very top near the inner adjoining edges and Page 60 has the same type of white dot near the upper right-hand corner of the page. Page 64 has a small white mark near the upper-right area that corresponds with an area of light creasing on the inside lining of the rear cover.
No rips, tears, missing pages, writing, or other significant staining were observed during inspection.
Shinsengumi Warriors Bento Box:
The dark brown lift-top wooden bento box is in very good condition and features attractive detailing, including the Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds logo and character silhouette design on the lid. It is sturdy, with no observed cracks or loose components, and the lid fits properly.
Inside are the removable wooden T-shaped divider, approximately 3/4-inch-wide black elastic retaining band, and original information/warning sheet. The sheet identifies the bento box materials as bamboo, Chinese fir, and white latex. The paper has minor handling wear including small creases, lightly bent corners, a small scratch, and a very small flap-style tear near the upper edge.
Interior Inserts/Packaging:
The original black interior inserts are included (including the empty one intended to hold the furoshiki cloth). They display light to moderate cosmetic shelf/storage wear, primarily along the bottoms, sides, and edges, consistent with the collector items being removed and replaced over time.
A few areas have very small white specks or spots where the black surface appears lighter or lacking color rather than obviously stained. The left-side insert has light scuffing, minor compression/creasing along some interior edges, and a shallow fold/bow running along one outer wall. This appears cosmetic and does not represent major structural damage.
Decorative portions of the inserts feature an attractive small floral and geometric diamond/square pattern.
Bonus Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms Character Pin Set:
The official six-character Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms pin set is mounted on its original illustrated backing card. The pins appear exceptionally clean, remain closed on the card, and show no obvious signs of having been handled or worn.
The original backing card has storage wear, including a prominent crease near the upper-right corner of the front and a very small bent area at the lower-right corner.
The pin set has been placed in a clean protective cello bag to help protect the pins and original backing card during storage and shipping. The protective bag is not represented as original packaging.

About the Item
Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds was released for PlayStation Vita in North America in 2017 by Idea Factory International. The Limited Edition was sold as a premium collector’s release featuring physical extras created specifically around the game’s Shinsengumi setting.
The original Limited Edition included the PS Vita game, Shinsengumi Warriors bento box, Hakuoki furoshiki wrapping cloth, art book, Melodies from Kyoto soundtrack, collector’s box, and reversible game cover sleeve.
These large-box Limited Editions are considerably less commonly encountered than the standard Vita release, particularly with most of their original specialty components still together. This example retains nearly all of the original contents, with the furoshiki being the one missing Limited Edition component.
The included six-pin bonus set comes from the Limited Edition of Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms, the direct sequel to Kyoto Winds. It features chibi versions of Hijikata, Okita, Saito, Heisuke, Harada, and Kazama.
Important Notes
The sealed PS Vita game has intentionally not been opened for testing in order to preserve its factory seal. The sealed soundtrack has likewise not been opened.
