Offered here is a large inherited sports autograph collection assembled over many years and stored together in this extremely full football collector’s binder.
This listing is for the entire remaining binder and its contents as presently shown and described.
The collection is heavily focused on NFL football and includes a large number of signed photographs, cards, postcards/prints and other pieces. It contains numerous Hall of Famers, Cowboys, Packers, Bears and other notable players and coaches from multiple eras.
Recognizable names represented in the collection include Gale Sayers, Joe Namath, Johnny Unitas, Jerry Rice, Mike Ditka, Steve Largent, Don Maynard, Lou Groza, Y.A. Tittle, Jim Kelly, John Madden, Ray Nitschke, Charles Haley, Drew Pearson, Herschel Walker, Pat Summerall, Archie Manning, Ricky Watters, Walt Garrison and many others, including substantial Dallas Cowboys material.
There is also some non-football material, including a signed Chipper Jones photograph.
PLEASE NOTE: The photographs do not show every item in the binder. The binder contains many additional signed photographs, cards and pieces that were not individually photographed. The listing photos are representative highlights intended to show the type, variety, depth and overall size of the collection.
AUTHENTICATION / PROVENANCE: To the best of my knowledge, the signatures were collected by the previous owner over many years. The autographs should be considered UNAUTHENTICATED unless explicitly stated otherwise. I am not representing or guaranteeing that PSA/DNA, JSA, Beckett or any other third-party authenticator will authenticate any particular signature. No third-party COAs are included unless specifically pictured and described. Buyers should review the photographs and make their own determination regarding authenticity.
CONDITION: This is an older estate collection and condition varies from piece to piece. Many items present very nicely, while others may show age, handling or storage wear, including edge/corner wear, surface wear, discoloration, fading, smudging, marks, residue, page wear or other imperfections. Some binder pages or sleeves have varying degrees of tackiness or stickiness from long-term storage. At least one Gale Sayers piece and the Jerome Bettis piece show visible signature smudging. No individual item has been professionally condition graded. Please review all photographs carefully for the best representation of condition.
Items have generally been left in the condition and organization in which they were received. I have not attempted to clean, restore or authenticate the collection.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE: The buyer receives the entire remaining blue football Collector’s Card Album binder and all contents contained within it at the time of this listing. Because this is being sold as a large estate collection rather than individually inventoried merchandise, the photographs are representative and are not intended to constitute a complete item-by-item inventory.
This could be an interesting collection for an NFL/HOF collector, Dallas Cowboys collector, autograph collector, dealer/reseller or someone interested in researching and potentially authenticating individual pieces.
