This is the genuine surplus system (NSN: 8465-01-547-2757) trusted by the U.S. Army to provide protection in climates ranging from temperate to extreme cold. The genius of the system is its layers, which can be used individually or combined to cover virtually any temperature.

The Complete 5-Part System Includes:1. UCP GORE-TEX Bivy Cover

The outermost layer of the system. This bivy cover is made from waterproof, windproof, and breathable GORE-TEX fabric, designed to protect the user and the sleeping bags from the harshest elements like rain, snow, and wind. It can also be used on its own as a minimalist shelter in warmer weather.

• Features: Waterproof, breathable, heat-seamed, durable two-way zipper, snap-button storm flap.

2. Patrol Sleeping Bag (Foliage Green)

This is the lighter-weight of the two sleeping bags, designed for use in temperate climates. It is perfect for camping in spring, summer, and fall on its own. The ripstop nylon shell is water-resistant and durable.

3. Intermediate Cold Weather Sleeping Bag (Urban Gray/Black)

This is the heavy-duty inner bag, designed for cold weather conditions. Its thicker polyester fill provides significant insulation. When used with the Patrol Bag, it creates a system capable of handling extreme cold.
