George Washington Sterling Camp Cups Boxed Set Int. Silver Archives VelvetCollector\'s set of 4 George Washington Camp Cups in original box and Special Notice note from American Archives. Reproduced between 1972 and 1976 by International Sterling in preparation for the U.S. Bicentennial, these are museum-authorized replicas of the Richard Humphreys camp cups used by Washington during the Revolutionary War, which are now housed in Yale University\'s Mabel Brady Garvan Collection. As the original American Archives notice states, they are .925 silver. The box is in great condition, with a chip on one corner and a couple of scuffs on top. The brass plaque is scratched. The inside red velvet lining is in excellent condition, with small damage at one corner. There are a few spots of discoloration on the satin lid. Please refer to the photos as we have tried to accurately capture all flaws. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Provenance of this set is unknown.
