Griswold No. 8 cast iron silver tone plated exterior and shiny chrome plated interior skillet with Griswold button logo chrome plated lid as a combo. For Griswold collectors, THIS IS THE ONE TO GET FOR YOUR COLLECTION!! The interior is so shiny and reflective, I had a hard time getting photos without background items in the room showing like a mirror! I have had this combo for quite a few years, and I have never seen another one that has such GREAT CONDITION CHROME PLATING on the inside of the skillet! Skillet is Griswold large block logo. Reviewed information indicates that this skillet was made in the years 1930-1939. SO, it is at least 85 years old! The Great Depression in America lasted from 1929-1941. So, this was a very prized possession for someone to purchase new during those years. The grease on the outside shows that the skillet was used, while the beautiful inside shows that it was LOVED, PRIZED, and CARED FOR. This is a beautiful set for YOU TO OWN and display.
