Framed Pre-Columbian Textile Peru Chancay Circa 1000-1470.The textile is made from fine cameloid (Vicuña, llama or guanaco) wool and/or cotton.It features a repeating pattern that includes highly stylized stripes and geometric patterns in pink and beige hues.The Chancay culture, lived on the Central Coastal region of Peru from about 1000 to 1470 CE.

Condition:Condition is commensurate with age and use. Framed under glass in vintage frame. Some discoloration to textileas well as some unravelling of the threads. Please see photos.
