For your consideration is a framed oil on stretched canvas mountain landscape painting. Dating to the late 1970s, the artwork bears the signature of the artist, “Moncrief”, in the lower right corner. A beautiful natural landscape of snow capped mountains rising majestically above a river and woodland down below, the painting measures 16”x 20” and is housed in a wormy chestnut wood frame with outer dimensions of 23”x 27”. The lower corners of the artwork show slight wear and creasing though this isn’t casually noticed or distracting. The painting would likely benefit from a professional cleaning.
