Up for your consideration is a rare piece of American automotive history: an original 24-stud Ford Flathead V8. Pulled from long-term storage, this engine features the highly desirable integrated bell housing and center-water-outlet heads characteristic of the 1938-1948 production era. This is an ideal candidate for a period-correct restoration or a traditional hot rod build. The casting appears solid, and the assembly remains largely intact with original components, including the manifold and heads. These "59A" series blocks are becoming increasingly difficult to find in unmolested condition. This is a collector-grade core for someone who knows the value of authentic vintage iron.
