2. The Conquest of London, 1870–1881
3. The Middle Years, 1882–1895
4. The Treacherous Years, 1895–1901
5. The Master, 1901–1916
All five volumes are hardcover with their original dust jackets. The books have firm bindings and the dust jackets retain attractive color with minimal edgewear.
Important condition note:
Parts of all five volumes contain underlining and handwritten marginalia/annotations throughout portions of the text. This is significant and should be considered when evaluating condition.
Two volumes also have stickers on the front covers. On one volume, an attempt was made to remove the sticker, resulting in some surface damage to the front cover.
