Offered here is a very beautiful Royal Worcester Porcelain Vase with an ivory glazed body adorned by Gold gilded handles cradling a pierced neck, raised Gold Asian style Thistle motif on one side and Cherry blossom motif on the other. It stands about 9 inches in height with the widest breadth of the body being approximately 5 inches. It is fully signed beneath the base.
CONDITION: There is a faint hairline crack on the Cherry Blossom side that is rather odd since it is only between the bottom of the pierced neck and travels South to about midway of the body. There is no sign of damage, so it must have occurred during the manufacturing process.
Beneath the base there was an ink stamp from the historic Bailey Banks & offerdle Jewelry Store, but disappeared when I washed the vase to remove the ring stain around it (that I didn\'t realize was residual from the stamp.)
The Gold gilding is about perfect with no signs of loss or oxidation anywhere. The rim of the foot displays a tiny bit of clay loss, also due to the manufacturing process, but it is so tiny it is hard to even see. No other defects or repairs.BUYER PAYS SHIPPING!
