My Daily Psalm Book is a 1947 New English Translation of the New Latin Version of the Psalter. It is a pocket Psalter arranged according to the Psalms used in the pre-V2 RCC breviary with the hours of Matins, Lauds, Prime, Terce, Sext, None, Vespers and Compline from Sunday to Saturday in order. There is a Psalm list for the numerical order in the back and pages for them since it is organized by the hours of prayer. It also has Canticles from the Old and New Testaments and a blank list to write in your favorite Psalms and where to find them. Each of the Psalms and Canticles has a b&w picture and a general summary of the theme found in it. Text is black and red throughout.
Wings of Prayer is a 100 chapter devotional based on the commentary of St. Ambrose of Milan on the longest Psalm 118/119 (Blessed are the blameless in the way...) with a meditation, reflection and prayer for each chapter. Translated by a Roman Catholic nun and an Anglican abbot. All books have no markings. Knox NT also includes a brief description of each book, text explanation in footnotes, a pronunciation index for proper names and a list of Epistles and Gospel readings for Sundays and principal holy days in the pre-V2 RCC.
