The shake awake feature requires complete inactivity to activate sleep mode. During everyday carry, constant micro-movements from walking or daily activity will keep the optic illuminated. This is normal operation. For optimal battery performance in EDC use, we recommend using a medium brightness setting (level 7–8) to extend battery life while maintaining readiness.
