Add a beautiful piece of Americanpressed-glass history to your collection with this vintage EarlyAmerican Pattern Glass (EAPG) berry bowl. The bowl features anattractive molded geometric design with vertical rectangular blockpanels arranged in a repeating grid, separated by horizontal bands.
The detailed pressed-glass constructionincludes a scalloped rim with repeating molded arches and adistinctive starburst-style footed base. The raised geometric texturegives the bowl excellent visual interest and is characteristic of thedecorative pressed-glass patterns produced during the late 19th andearly 20th centuries.
The exact manufacturer and pattern nameare unknown. There is no visible maker\'s mark on the piece. Themolded construction and design characteristics are consistent withEAPG pressed glass, generally associated with production fromapproximately the 1880s through the early 1900s.
