This is our Dark Red Oak Bokken. The single piece of carved natural oak underneath has been lightly painted over for a Dark Red finish.
This set is designed for practitioners who prefer training with a cost-effective wooden sword set. The bokken comes with a saya and sageo, so you can practice unsheathing the daito from its saya. The sageo, attached to the sheath, can be used to holster the scabbard to your hakama/martial arts uniform.
Perfect for beginners and intermediates who would like to train iaido, the art of drawing your blade, with a quality wooden sword. Can also be used for suburi(shadow swings) and kata (sword forms), and waza (technique) training.
Limited quantity available. Comes with handguard and stopper + saya/scabbard for the bokken.
