Up for purchase is this vintage and all original 1968 Corgi 268 The Green Hornet Black Beauty Crime fighting car in its original box with the original 4 missiles and 4 spinners and the original instructions sheet and original envelope.
The car has the following features.....Swiveling Green hornet figure in rear passenger side seat.
....Opening and closing front grill which fires missile.
....Opening and closing rear trunk that fires the spinner.
All functions work like new and the grill closes perfectly with no sag.
The paint has no major damage.The front passenger side suspension is weak and car sits slightly low on that side.All glass is free from any cracks.The front grill closes as it should with no sagging.The green hornet figure has his complete gun tip with nothing bent or broken.The green hornet sticker on the roof shows no wear to it.Both jewel headlights are present.Tires in good order with no cracks and the car rolls along freely.
The outer box has all end flaps present and fully attached.Very firm box,Nice bright colors with no graffiti.No crushing, no creasing and no price tags.
The inner plinth has all end flaps present including both end pull tabs.No wear and no tears to wing portions.Slight wear to two tire slots.
Original envelope is excellent condition with one end opened carefully. No tears at all, just some wrinkling.
The original instructions sheet has wear at one end with slight holes in it but reinforced with clear tape in that area. Please see last two photos.
Comes with four original orange missiles and four original orange spinners.
Car measures approx 5 1/2 inches long and is approx 1:42 scale.
