This is a string-bound portfolio of photographs ofCleveland Ohio from 1889. The photographshave a beautiful sepia tone and lots of detail. Each has a caption beneath. It includes multiple views of Case Western University. The book is entitled "Cleveland Illustrated."
There are 32 pages of photographs.The page measures 7x5.5inches (18 x 14 cm). The full-page photos measure approximately 5.5 x 4 inches (14 x 10 cm). A few of the pages have short tears in the white margin area (see scan).
Produced by the Albertype Company as a set of mechanical photogravure prints. It is dated 1889.
