This is a compact disc of 23 Chopin Mazurkas played by Janusz Olejniczak on the Opus 111 label. The playing surface of the disc is very clean. But not perfect. Closely eyeball the surface and you will see some tiny scuffs and scratches. Though the disc will play correctly for you. It is the music that is the most important thing, right? If you are the sort of obsessive-compulsive collector who insists on compact discs that look like they have never been touched, please take a pass on this recording. Save both of us a headache.
Olejniczak is the pianist who played for the soundtrack of the award-winning Adrien Brody movie THE PIANIST.
