Printers routinely produced a small number of extra sheets—known as overs—to ensure a complete run once losses, flaws, or misprints were accounted for. These surplus pieces were never intended for sale or circulation and were typically discarded after binding/assembly was complete. As a result, surviving overs—especially intact, matching sets like this—offer a rare glimpse into Young\'s physical making of this Black Sparrow item, preserved one step before becoming the finished object collectors usually encounter.
