Vintage Case XX 61093 Texas Toothpick from the 1940–1964 era with exceptionally attractive old green bone handles.The bone is the standout feature on this knife. Both sides show deep, rich coloration with dark green, brown, burgundy and amber tones running through the original jigging. The color and depth are outstanding in hand and give this knife the unmistakable look collectors seek in early Case bone.Both handle scales have been carefully inspected under magnification and are free of cracks or fractures. The jigging remains strong and well defined, the CASE oval shield is firmly intact, and the nickel-silver bolsters retain a bright, attractive appearance.The blade is clearly stamped CASE XX with 61093 pattern stamping on the reverse tang.This is an honestly used vintage knife. The carbon-steel blade has been sharpened and shows age-related spotting, staining and surface marks consistent with decades of use and storage. It is not being represented as mint or unused. The blade nevertheless retains a very respectable profile and the knife remains an excellent collector-grade example.The long, sweeping Texas Toothpick frame combined with this particularly attractive XX-era green bone gives the knife tremendous visual character.
