How is this installed? The spacer mounts to the subwoofer enclosure, then the subwoofer mounts to the spacer.

These spacers are used when your subwoofer enclosure doesn\'t have enough depth. Meaning, your subwoofer magnet is hitting the inside of your subwoofer box because your subwoofer is longer than you expected. By using this spacer it will give you enough clearance.

These spacers are also used to conform to the exact air space requirement of your subwoofer. By using a spacer, it is very easy to increase air space in the box, without buying a new box.
