At theend of WWI there was no support system for unemployed and disabled veterans.These booklets were produced and given to the veterans for them to hand out inreturn for donations from the public. I believe they would set-up on a citystreet corner to try to get help from the public for their plight. (A sad and desperatesituation). This breaks my heart being a veteran myself. These booklets are arare find today. I feel these are an important part of our countries veteran’s history.

This would be a nice addition or gift for any WWI war, veteran, or WWIwar historian fan or collector.
