British Staffordshire Blue Transferware Castle Villa Pearlware Saucer C1815-1820
British Pearlware saucer. Decorated with a blue transferware scene of a castle / villa with mountains and trees. Has a floral border. Unmarked except for the number 4 in blue. Circa 1815 to 1820. Has crazing typical of pearlware, wear consistent with age and use, staining, numerous chips along the edge and a chip and a bruise to the foot rim.
Measures approximately 6 1/4 inches wide.
