The Bilstein 24-317856 B8 5100 Adjustable Front Shock is engineered as a performance-oriented suspension upgrade for 2009 through 2013 Ford F-150 4WD trucks. Featuring a monotube gas-pressurized design and a 46 mm digressive piston, this shock improves damping response and wheel control compared to factory units while providing adjustable ride height using the included spring seat. By moving the spring perch to different positions, you can raise the front ride height from stock up to approximately 2.25″ without additional spacers.

Installation is straightforward, with the 24-317856 shock mounting directly into the original front suspension mounting points and requiring no trimming or modifications. The durable zinc-plated finish enhances corrosion resistance for long service life, and the adjustable design gives flexibility for leveling or light lift setups. Sold individually, it’s recommended to install matching shocks on both sides for balanced suspension performance and improved ride quality on lifted or leveled F-150s.
